CHAMPAIGN, IL- Richard D. Clark, 86, of Champaign died Thursday, April 26th in Colorado. Visitation will be from 5-8pm, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana, IL. Funeral services will be at 10 A.M., Thursday, May 3 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana. Burial will in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Mayview. Mr. Clark was born on June 5, 1925 in Tulsa Oklahoma the son of Russell and Bonnie Armstrong Clark. He married Sara Anne Hudson Clark of Urbana on June 21, 1958 in Champaign at the University Place Christian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Clark of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Bonnie Clark Corley (Kevin) of Cherry Hills Village, Colorado and five grandchildren. Corbin and Chelsea Madix of Colorado; and Kevin, Brooke and Robbie Corley of Colorado. Also one sister and two brothers. Pat Williams of Champaign, Paul Clark of Lindenhurst, NY and Dave Clark of Urbana. One brother Jim Clark of Urbana, preceded him in death. Mr. Clark was raised in Allendale, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Illinois college of business. He was a business property owner. He served in the Navy during World War II on the ship the USS Bull. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Champaign. Also a member of Kiwanis and a life member of the U of I alumni association. He enjoyed woodworking and world travel.
